Youth Exchanges

Youth exchanges offered by INDICOT are non-formal learning experiences that bring together youth groups from two or more countries for a period of between 6 and 21 days, giving them the opportunity to discuss different issues from the youth perspective, to make new friends from other countries, as well as to compare and learn about other countries and cultures. English is used in Youth Exchanges as a common language, so the exchanges are a perfect opportunity to improve youngsters´language skills and to for them to feel at ease when communicating in a foreing language.

Depending on the number of countries involved , a Youth Exchange can be bilateral, trilateral or multilateral. A Youth Exchange can also be itinerant, which means that all the participants move through two or more countries during the course of the exchange.

Participants must be aged between 13 and 25 years.

INDICOT offers Youth Exchanges for young people aged between 13 and 17 years and also for young people between 18 and 25.

The high demand for this type of action means that places are limited, therefore advance booking is recommended .
